5 Minutes With Jed

6 March 2019

We do love us a bit of Jed Texas (Elite), so thought it was time to do one of our "5 Minutes With" features with him! He was recently shot by Cecilie Harris for Boys by Girls editorial "A Beautiful Mistake", so if you haven't already make sure to check out that as well. One can never have enough of the Jed really.

What are you currently up to?
Lately I haven't been in London for the last 6 months, as I've been travelling. I've been in New York for two months, Milan two months , and also in Germany modelling. It's been going well, been doing lots of editorials, campaigns, a few catalogs and lookbooks. Now getting ready for London fashion week, so you might catch me on the runway (cheeky wink).

What inspires you and why?
I'm inspired by myself - what you give is what you get. My dad also really inspires me.

What do you do when you're not working?
Chilling, partying, listening to music and having a good time living life. When I go out I go west end a lot and to Shoreditch, depends where the good party's at! I also love to hang in New York. Everything i bigger and better there.

Who would be your designer and photographer to work with?
My ultimate designer would be Prada or Versace! Favourite photographers, I've already worked with them and I look forward to working with them again. Including Cecilie Harris of course!

What's the best piece of advise you have ever had?
Best piece of advise within the industry came from my booker and director of Elite London. They gave me advice on how to pose, how to walk on the runway and how to act in front of the camera. Everything they gave me is why I'm doing so well now.

If you were written about in the newspapers, what would the headlines say?
I already have been!
BBG: Really! What did they say?!
Jed: Not really. But if they did it would involve world domination in some way. haha

Cheeky! Thanks Jed for sharing a little bit of your awesomeness with us.
