I reached out my arms, found a canyon rippling awake with a yawn
Broad daylight singles us out while the night covers
Each wink of a smile and tink of a laugh
We set the sun up anyway and bask in the bloating heat
We wave towards the moon as she refuse to hide her face
We wake at the clap of a day’s break and give our last calls
To moments turning to motives, to time turning to testimonies
