The Cool Kid

8 July 2015

There is something so refreshing about the combination of the high contrasting images photographer Sophie Mayanne uses, and her approach to capturing ever-renewing youth. Premier Model's Reece Harold breezes through close ups, infused with alluring full lengths that are the building blocks of this exclusive series. Having recently seen Reece at school and hanging out with friend in our latest print issue, we see a new side to Reece exploring his versatility as a model.

The combination of bold prints and graphics created by stylist Kitty Cowell, add several layers to the images, boosting the volume of a monochrome visual. Kitty adds layers mixing the sequins of Ashish with streetwear brand A Bathing Ape. Accessories also play an essential part in creating that cool kid persona.

Young in appearance, Reece has all the elements of breaking into a youthful scene, whilst still having a mature composure about him. Serenity challenged by a stronger aura. Dark hair and strong features are just a few of the elements Reece uses to draw us into every frame.

Find Reece in two stories in our latest print issue "Suburban Days" and "Boys at School". Issue 8 is available to buy in shops and via our website now.
