Ryan Hassaine For Issue 9

7 December 2015

Under the spell. Round and around we go. Lay down your dreams. Your crooked visions. The twist and wanderings of a marvel. The boy. To escape and to transport. Dilating visions and budding fascinations of human interest. He wonders. Of total escapism.

French photographer Fanny Latour-Lambert, master of visual storytelling, takes a cinematic approach to capturing Ryan Hassaine for Issue 9 "Growing Sideways". Playing to her dreamy fantasies of an urban Paris and atmospheric compositions. Toying with the idea of innocence and rebellion. Ryan’s motions - natural and personable, with graceful movements full of charm. The model escapes to a world of illusion. For now the beauty is left undiscovered. Dreams of adventure await.

Stylist Mariaelena Morelli dresses Ryan in the latest AW15 trends for this 8-page editorial. The below preview gives you a hint of the colourful approach in this story of a French kid. As colourful as the imaginations of photographer and boy, Mariaelena adds colour and patterns with a carefully selected mix of Topman, Sandro, Marc Jacobs, Paul Smith, Dries van Noten, Missoni and A.P.C.
