Miles Langford By Stef

5 July 2013

It has not been long since we last featured the enchanting Miles Langford, but we simply couldn’t resist this beautiful series of portraits by Stef Mitchell.

Miles has recently become a firm favourite here at BBG featuring in wonderful portrait series from Georgie Wileman as well as a series captured by Ira Chernova. It’s his green eyes and incredible head to toe tattoos that keep us coming back for more.

Stef captures her good friend Miles at play in his New York home in these personal portraits, capturing Miles in intimate moments of his everyday life, completely in line with the Boys by Girls ethos. The black and white approach creates a beautiful tone in the series, working with both the serious portraits and the more playful documentary style images. What we love about the images is the ease of them. With no formalities in the way, Stef is free to simply capture some very raw and beautiful moments.

In between creating beautiful images Miles enlightened Stef about his British punk history and cooking skills, treating her to a homemade burrito. The more we see Miles the better he gets, and we love that "the beautiful boy with the tattoos" is taking the world by storm.
