Michael At New Madison

18 September 2013

What happens when you mix bright Parisian sunshine, a very cute boy, and a talented photographer? The answer is this stunning black and white portrait series of Michael Morvan at New Madison Models shot by Magdalena Lawniczak. These images are great examples of how you don't always need a big production and a lot of studio lights to make a beautiful portrait series, as Magdalena's style is relaxed, simple and always focused on the model. Michael is showcased with his great hair and wonderful lips, as he playfully enjoys the sunny day.

We knew that Michael and Magdalena would get along just fine, and are not surprised that the result is such a captivating series that brings deep contrasting shadows from the bright sun, with gentle and calming feelings that you only get during summer days. That feeling when you are laying on the grass, listening to a few birds chirping in the afternoon, and you smile wishing summer would never end. We are happy we have a bit of this oddly warm summer that we have had to be beautifully captured for Boys by Girls, as these images will keep bringing back to that cheerful summer feeling to us all when we start experiencing those typical dull and cloudy days again.

Adding Michael to all the cute boys we have been seeing from Paris, the beautiful city is getting higher on our travel plans, deffo.
