Being a creative person requires you to be in constant conversation with an unseen audience. Even subconsciously, the people who will consume your work remain a quiet companion in its creation. Kieron Moore is currently finding new ways to approach this discussion.
The actor/writer/poet inherently knows that consumption is part of the process, whether he’s acting or writing. Feedback is inevitable, as is the imposition of someone else’s interpretation of his work over his own perception of it, and he welcomes all of this with open arms. He’s figuring out how to allow his art to retain its sacred value once it becomes someone else’s. Kieron has found inspiration in this pursuit through unlikely sources—namely, reading an abundance of books and journaling daily. In establishing these solitary pockets of time, Kieron has permitted himself to approach his creativity from a point of pure imagination (with the slightest twinge of selfishness). These gentle reminders affirm that what he’s doing will always be worth it solely because of the joy he cultivates from the mere act of creation.
Whether his art is meaningful to an audience once it’s released is a cherry on top, but it’s also ‘just decorative.’ Holding this belief helps Kieron learn how to let himself be what he was always meant to be without worrying about the other half of the conversation.
