Issue 10 Out Now!

29 April 2016

"Let’s be happy on Wednesdays, as we watch it raining lost souls in a world perfect on the surface. We got used to it, ignoring anyone else’s world than our own, merely brief observers of a chaotic stream of noise. When was the last time you looked at the same image for a while, allowing your mind to wander into it - or listened to the same song on repeat, letting the words become part of you? When was the last time you wanted to create something new?" (From the Editors Letter)

Releasing our 10th issue feels rather wonderful. As we release this very special Spring Summer issue, it's with a feeling that we have grown up and survived our troublesome teenage years. We feel proud of what we have been able to create and the people that have become part of the Boys by Girls family, contributing with impactful and stunning stories for you all to take in. And we feel grateful. Grateful for our readers that are as passionate as we are. Like Jackson in our previous issue; just so many feels. It's all good.

To celebrate this major release, we have given the cover an upgrade to extra silky smooth. It's a sophisticated affair, with the same raw honesty and passion floating across the 160 pages of uncoated paper. The tenth chapter of Boys by Girls Magazine explores the concept of the modern male muse. This means the issue is full of inspiring boys; actors from cinema and TV screens with seriously exciting projects this year, musicians who will be gracing the festival scene and possibly be your new obsession this summer, as well as carefully selected boys who's stories we wanted to share. Our female talent this issue is extraordinary, and each story has soul and visuals that will tempt you to sit in your comfortable chair for longer, giving you more time to take it all in. Each story has multiple layers, giving you the opportunity to learn, explore and be inspired.

For the first time ever, we feature an actor on one of our two covers; the young, talented Asa Butterfield, who will be on the big screens in June this year playing one of the lead roles in Tim Burton's 'Miss Peregrin's Home for Peculiar Children'. Our fashion cover features super adorable brothers Callum and Louis Ball (SUPA Model Management).
