Grass Stained Jeans

31 July 2015

Do you remember the countless days running through muddy fields? Weather worn, grass stained jeans from rolling down hills? And the feeling of freedom in the cool, fresh air? Lying on your back and kicking back, forgetting all their troubles and worries. Closing their eyes and getting lost in the bottomless depths of their imaginations. They are the lost boys.

Photographer Kimi Hammerstroem effortlessly captures Leo Dobsen and Josh Walton from Models 1 in this intimate exclusive for Boys by Girls. Kimi helps uncover the boys true personalities and lets us take a peek into their beautiful story. Leo, a guitarist in the band ‘Childhood’ and Josh, owner of the menswear collective The Sold Out Store both express their creative passions in this series with the help of Kimi and her use of intimate crops and imaginative camera angles.

Art Curator and Stylist Antonia Marsh dresses the boys to match their laid back, youthful style and helps bring a tranquil, organic feel to the images.
