Faces Of Summer: Tommy Marr

6 September 2013

As a handsome new face to the modeling world, we adore Tommy Marr from Next Models London. Tommy had an impressive start to his career, strutting the runway for the first time when he booked an exclusive Calvin Klein show. This season, Tommy walked for Frankie Morrello, Christopher Raeburn, Shawn Samson and Bobby Abley.

You might remember Tommy looking dapper in the I Love Fake Magazine editorial shot by Cecilie a few months ago, and we were very excited to include him in this years Faces of Summer series. In this stunning portrait series he was photographed by Cecilie Harris, with vintage college-boy inspired styling by PC Williams. Cecilie mentioned that Tommy has a remarkable look that keeps getting better each time she seems him. The styling of the shoot was inspired by the movie "Dead Poets Society", which brings an old-school college boy look to the images with thick varsity sweaters and simple suits. This combined with Tommy's strong confidence is an amazing combination. Amazing bone structure and charismatic personality are just some of the reasons why we adore the very beautiful Tommy Marr.

Tommy spends most of his time playing his favorite sport of football, and we are sure he looks rather impressive on the field. With a laid back confidence, he knows what he wants out of life, saying he would be happy to simply be with his friends and family. He spends his Sundays walking his dog, and he shares what a typical morning is like for Tommy in his interview below. We are definitely looking forward to seeing more from Tommy in the future.

Hi Tommy! Tell us how long have you been modeling for?
I've been modelling for about 8 months now.

Tell us what shows you did for fashion week this year?
In Milan I did Frankie Morrello, and then in London I had Christopher Raeburn, Shawn Samson, and Bobby Abley. So it was all good.

Have you done any shoots recently?
I recently shot Attitude Magazine which was pretty cool. I also had a shoot for The Guardian newspaper to advertise fashion week.

What are you passionate about?
Football, I have done it for around 12 years.

That is committment! What are three other words that describe you?
Hardworking, enthusiastic and confident.

What is the best decision you have ever made?
I had a big decision whether or not to stay in school, and I was happy that I decided to stay.

That was a very good decision!
Yes, kids stay in school!

What are some of the first things you do in the morning?
I always struggle to get out of bed, then I jump straight in the shower. I do my hair, get ready and go.

How long does it take to fix your hair?
It takes me a while to do my hair, 15 minutes or so!

On the subject of time, what do you typically do on a Sunday evening?
Sunday is definitely a family chill day. I usually go to work, come home and then chill out with my family over a nice roast dinner. We always end the day with walking the dog as a family to unwind from the week. Sunday is always family time, and an early night is keen!

Nobody likes the Monday blues.
Mondays are always killer for me! haha

How would you describe the perfect life?
One where your family and good friends are around you, you have a good job, and you just do stuff that you enjoy doing day in and day out.

Who is your hero?
I look up to my mom and dad a lot. They have both got quite far in life, and have brought me up really well. Since I am very into football I also look up to David Beckham.

What is something you wish everyone knew about you?
Not all models love themselves! A lot of models can get stereotyped that way , but I am not like that. It is annoying, but you get on with it.

Any last words?
I love Boys by Girls!

We couldn't have ended it any better Tommy! That was totally heartwarming.
