We are bringing you two "Faces of Summer 2013" this week (because he’s just too good to wait a week for), this time Anders Hayward at Supa Models. In his time modelling, he has built a resume which includes basically everybody awesome in the industry. Yes, this 19 year old has not hung around when it comes to getting some major names under his belt. This year alone he walked for Louis Vuitton, Carven, Fendi, Ji Wenbo, Katie Eary, Les Hommes and Burberry, to name just a few. He has also featured in editorials in GQ Russia, Vogue It, Man About Town, Hero, I-D, Dazed & Confused, Another Man and The Sunday Telegraph and more, and has managed to bag campaignes with Dior, Topman, James Long and Burberry Black Label in Japan - clever boy. How has he managed to come such a long way in such a short time I hear you ask - it’s simple really. He is lovely. Absolutely charming - and also quite handsome. Then add more lovely and then lots of talent of all sorts.
Anders was the first to arrive on set on the day day, and he kept us giggling until he left a short eight hours later. BBG HQ just loves us some Anders and we are sure after reading our interview with him you will as well. He chatted to us about what it would be like to meet himself at a party, how he would describe Twitter to his nan, and why he loves dance so much. Oh yes it is no secret that Anders is an incredible dancer, currently studying at London Contemporary Dance School, and having studied at the Brit School before that.
Photographer and BBG Editor-in-Chief Cecilie Harris captures Anders in a beautifully serene portrait series. She manages to engage with the tranquility of his personality, showing him peaceful and relaxed persona, using his subtle movements to help create these mesmerising shots. And lets not forget the magic that happened last time the pair met in "The Boy Doesn't Live Here Anymore".
Whilst we are in an "Anders is awesome" kind of mood, if you didn't capture our subtle hints yet, he will be featuring in our upcoming issue 5 which is coming out very, very soon!

Hey Anders, how long have you been modeling?
Since February 2012, so thats like a year and a half.
That’s quite a long time now.
Yeah quite a while.
Which shows have you done so far this year?
I did Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Zegna, haha and some other ones.
A lot of Supa boys did Burberry..
Yeah yeah yeah ... eight. I cant remember ... Fendi, I did Fendi.
What one was your favorite?
Louis Vuitton. It was really bright. Stuff was in your face, and it was just too bright. My face was like this (he squints).
So attractive... What else have you been doing with editorials and lookbooks?
I’ve been doing quite a lot of editorials ... just shot with Karim Sadli for Man About Town, so that was really fun, we went to Paris. I shot with Elliot (Vulliod) who’s going to be here today right? The french one. It was cool.
What’s your favorite editorial you’ve shot this year? (Cecilie glares at him)
This year ... Umm Haha of course it’s Boys by Girls! No, that was a good one actually. It was like dancing and stuff. It was cool.
Could you describe yourself in three words?
I’m actually friendly. That not my three words. Weird. I’m definitely weird. I’m strange. A strange character. And pale.
So you’re not enjoying the sunshine at the moment?
No, I love it. Don’t get me wrong, I love the sun, but I don’t burn and don’t tan. I just stay the same.
Above Anders wears; Jacket; MA.STRUM, Jumper; CHRISTOPHER SHANNON, Jeans; ASOS, Shirt; BEN SHERMAN, Shoes; TOPMAN.
So you’re a dancer, apart from that and modeling, what else are you passionate about?
I don’t have time for anything else, both of them take up a lot of time, those are my main things. But I love music, that’s one of my other main passions. I love making music and listening to music.
Do you play any instruments?
I play guitar and I used to play drums as well.
I used to play the drums..
Did you? Haha
What is your favorite thing about dance?
I think because it can be about anything. It’s so open and because I can’t sit still, I need to be walking around or doing something. I think it’s the only art form thats kind of like a sport and an art as well. But it’s also a really good creative outlook for me.
When you choreograph dances, how do you go about that?
It actually changes. Like if I hear a song and I get something from it I’ll use that as my stimulus. But then other times it’ll be that I have an idea in my head for like the sun haha, no not the sun, but you know what I mean. It can change. Constantly changing - that's what I like about it. It doesn’t have to be about anything, it can be whatever you want.
That's so true actually. It’s very free. Ok so if you where King for a day, what would be your first action?
Um if I was king for the day the first thing I would do is order whatever food I wanted, which right now this second would be massive Fish and Chips. Then I would make it free for the whole country.
Like at the same time?
Yeah at the same time I had it. A meal a day that I fancied would be free for everyone.
Thats nice, you’re giving back. That’s good.
It’s not unrealistic.
No not at all. What do you think is your biggest strength?
I’m quite easy to get along with. I’m not too intense, I can get along with people quite well.
Like in any situation. Throw you in there, and you’ll be fine?
Yeah, like I’ve got quite a wide scope of friends.
If you met yourself at a party, do you think you would get on?
Oh thats a good one ... umm yeah I think I would, I think I would. I wouldn’t be like ‘Oh my God he’s amazing’.
What a great guy!
Yeah I think I’d be alright. Maybe think he’s a bit weird but yeah get along ok I think.
Above: Joey Rogers appropriately gatecrashed the shoot.
How would you explain twitter to your grandma?
It’s like .. Haha .. Ok so basically you have this website where you just have little statements about your life whenever you feel like it, and then people who want to listen to what you have to say can follow what you have to say. That is the worst explanation ever. Its hard! Haha what kind of a question is that? Who made that up?
Haha sorry I did. Sorry if you don’t like it...
No no, it’s good, it’s just on the spot. It’s like there's a website where you have interesting things to say, and people respond to what you say. And there are little things called hashtags..
Oh God, how would you describe a hashtag to ya nan? It’s hard.
A hashtag is something that no human being should actually use, because it’s useless and I don’t like them.
(at this point Joey Rogers strolls in and theres a lot of...
'Mr Rogers. Ay up lad. '
'Ay up Anders. Hows it going'
they continue to be the cheeky chappies they are all day - and it is very entertaining)
...... So who is your favorite film character?
Ooh thats a good question.
Good I’m glad your enjoying them now...
Andy Duphresne. No I lie ... It’s Woody from Toy Story. I love Toy Story.
You look a bit like Woody actually..
Oh Thanks .. I look like a doll. I don’t know whether thats a good thing or a bad thing? I’m gonna take it as a good thing. He’s tall..
He’s skinny and he’s a cowboy, so thats great.
How would your dad describe you?
My dad would describe me as a bit of a wimp I guess. He’d be like ‘Ahh he’s a very interesting character, very different', he’s from up north from Yorkshire so...
How does he view the whole modeling thing?
Haha yeah and dance...
Does he get it?
Yeah yeah he gets it, he’s been around Haha... he’s travelled.
(Yet another model comes over and greets us - they are piling in at this point)
Ok and finally are you looking forward to today? All your friends are arriving ..
Yay .. Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing people that I haven't seen since the shows. It’s gonna be a good day I think. I’ve got a good feeling about it.
Me too. Great, thank you Anders! You were an absolute dream from start to finish, come and teach us some dance moves some time.
