A wolf exists to live among his pack; reliant on a family to hunt, live and thrive. He runs through forests and gazes from the mountains to the moon until his legs and eyes grow weary. But the lone wolf is often stronger. He who detaches himself from the dependance of the pack, and instead looks to solitude, finds peace within his own mind. He treads a new path of curiosity, to reach the place that his spirit belongs.
In this portrait series from Liron Weissman, Isaac Hollings at Elite London interrogates the city and the camera with his intense stare. Walking into the room, he simultaneously connected and separated himself from the team to create a confident, yet reclusive, being. Liron photographs Isaac with his enchanting aura, captivating the viewer to make you feel as if you are stood right on set; receiving his gaze and watching his behaviour, just as the lens does.
Styled by Zane Page in a Neuw Denim khaki shirt, Margiela jeans and Hackett braces, Isaac enters a euphoric inwardness; where Miti Kondo lets his hair fall over Yulia Yurchenko's work on his fresh face. Inquisitive eyes throw out enigmatic stares which cut through the camera. Isaac is consumed by a mod-like attitude; free of care and totally focused on existing in his urban environment. He exudes the persona of an outsider for the duration of this series; a guy who isn’t phased by those looking at him, but is concerned with his own place of existence.
