Boys To Watch: New York SS16

16 July 2015

Fashion week is a breath of fresh air, a precarious wind that whistles down the catwalk every six months. This time the runways have landed in New York, gathering unssemingly new faces, as well as models accustomed to sashaying in the latest designs the city has to offer.

Following our "Boys to Watch" series in London, Milan and Paris, this time we head to New York. Captured inbetween the hustle and bustle of castings, city life photographer Lauren Withrow captures the boys, freezing them in frames aside from the busy hours. Our avid reader will recognise Robbie McKinnon from issue 7, and we are introduced to some of the new buzz boys from London, Milan and Paris, as well as some top boys around at the moment. Stylist Lisa Jarvis adds an ambiguous ode to the boys, using key everyday pieces to emphasize the boys natural styles.

Find out more about the boys, their love of words and endearing quirks as we catch a snippet of their day inbetween shows and fashion week mayhem. As well as rocking the catwalks, these boys really know how to create moments that we can visually endulge in and that will stick in your mind.
