Jade Danielle Smith captures Kit Warrington at Oxygen Models. Playful and enchanting, in this exclusive series for Boys by Girls.

Walking down crisp, cobbled streets, sunlight tears through morning’s grey clouds. The thought of commitment has him weary, not wanting to abandon wishing wells, told tales, and the schoolboy clothes that no longer fit him. The screwed up faces and skateboard races; timeless summer fun. Kit Warrington, as captured by Jade Danielle Smith, is the boy gone rogue from school-time strains - a distant time from pulling those silly faces at window panes. Detentions no longer lurk at the corner, but the writing is still on the desk, loose arms still hold up his sleepy head. The adult world awaits.

Rocket boy, rocket boy, please let me come with you. Clinging onto the clutches of your metal, descend me into distant space. Spaces of wonder, places of Neverland, flying away into far-flung realms, worlds asunder. Lands of the abstract, transporting him to domains of new spheres. He’s a lost boy no more, he has found his forever place. It accompanies him day and night, transforming the mundane into something spectacular.

Entering remote lands of telescopic corners, Jade Danielle Smith captures Kit at Oxygen Models' most playful and enchanting side. Adorned in swamping striped pyjamas, paired with Fred Perry trainers and uneven socks; he’s just a big kid really. A series reminiscent of boyhood tales, decked in a blonde ponytail and strings of paisley patterned ties, with a gap tank top, reminiscent of traditional white school vests.

It’s in us all, to never grow up.
