Issue 12 ‘Young hearts’ out now

28 April 2017
Young hearts. Fragile and delicate. Passionate, driven, ready to love - there is nothing quite as exquisite as the excitement of a first. The first time you accomplish something entirely alone, the first time you climb the ladder not knowing where it’ll take you, the possibility of a fall willing you higher and stronger, the first time you lock eyes across the room with a prospective partner, lover, friend. The passion that lies within the heart of the young is gold.

With every issue release we dig that little bit deeper. The content, the stories, the depths of the minds that we wander into within the boys on our pages get more profound every time, encouraging open and true-to-the-heart conversations. The folds of our pages hold an abundance of energy and giggles, heartfelt and speculative discussions, and poetic lines that resonate within us. Issue 12 is a diary of authentic tales and secrets, and you're invited into a sea of interesting, young minds. Whether it is stories of love or passion, or simply an insight into what is in their heart, our Spring Summer 2017 issue, 'Young Hearts', holds a capsule of intimate tales and diaries.

British actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster graces the talent cover, whilst model Bradley Phillips is the face of our fashion cover. A handpicked selection of stand-out and authentic talent within film, music and dance, as well as carefully chosen boys with stories to tell - all spinkled with the finest of the latest fashion collections. Continuing our exploration of the contemporary young male, we go deeper and more honest than before. Storylines in this issue often touching on being able to be who you want to be - love who you want to love, and the changing faces of masculinity and what it means to grow up within a world that is changing before us. Our boys provide their unique perspectives. The insights are within the pictures, within their words.

Allow the issue 12 stories to satisfy all your senses, as you experience them in their best form; printed pages. A warmth emanates from the first page; it's a welcoming abode and you are not here alone.

Issue 12’s talent cover features talented British actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster. He made his debut as a household name as ‘that’ boy in "Love Actually" and has since catapulted himself to Hollywood stardom, gracing cinematic screens most recently in the exciting "Maze Runner" franchise. Editor-In-

Chief Cecilie Harris photographs Thomas’ youthful and charming personality, while Fashion Editor David Nolan styles his sophisticated demeanour to a T. Weighing in with thoughts on the unfortunate necessity of having to grow up and the little pink scooter that began his obsession with motorcycles, his cover feature interview is a delightful and engaging conversation, sure to leave your day a little bit brighter.

Our fashion cover is fronted by model Bradley Phillips at Milk Model Management, the second chapter of his time spent with Boys by Girls. What has changed? His hair is considerably longer and his popularity in the modelling industry has skyrocketed. Bradley's intimate cover features beautiful imagery captured by Cecilie Harris and fashioned by David Nolan, as Bradley welcomes you into his home and divulges secrets of the imperfect perfections of the young man today.
