Peter The Cheetah

18 February 2014

Peter Frampton is a family man. The youngest of four brothers, all of which model or have modelled in the past, it only made sense for the handsome chap to follow their footsteps into the industry of modelling. Supa Model Management snatched Peter up recently, and it was a pleasure to be able to catch up with the 20-year-old on how the early days of his modelling career is going.

We recently featured an exclusive portrait series of Peter by Laura Coughlin, and also captured Peter looking dazzling in the new Topman x Sibling collection - we are definitely keeping an eye on this boy in the future. We just have to mention, with a total of five modelling brothers, including Peter himself, their family portraits must be, well, ravishing...

Hi Peter, tell us how you got into modelling.
Well I have four brothers that have been modelling, and two are modelling right now, so I spoke to my brother and told him I wanted to get into modelling and he took me into a few agencies. Then Supa took me in!

Four modelling brothers! What are the chances. How long ago was that?
Umm, just over two months ago… around September.

Polaroid by Cecilie Harris with special thanks to The Impossible Project.

Have your brothers taught you much about the industry?
Yeah, they told me how to go into castings, what to do, what to say to people. They help a lot, I can always ask them questions.

How lovely of them. Are you enjoying it?
Yeah I am, it's really fun. I'm enjoying the different types of shoots I'm doing. Boys by Girls especially, it's different to others, it's really fun and creative.

We're happy you're enjoying your time here! Did you have the chance to do any shows yet?
No I haven't! But I'd love to do shows

What photo shoots have you done so far?
I've done two shoots far. One was actually with Laura Coughlan for BBG!

We were so pleased to snatch you up first! What else do you do apart from modelling?
I do some work for my brother for his personal training company. I do the invoices and all the computer stuff and he does the training.

What is your passion?
Uh, thats a tough one! I haven't decided what I want to do yet. For now, modelling, and I have been thinking about going into personal training as well, inspired by my brother. But I haven't really decided what I want to do yet.

You're only 20, you have time. Tell us three random facts about yourself.
I love working out, I love spending time with my family because my family is so big. Umm.. I can't think of a third!

Any funny stories..?
I can tell you about how I got the scar on my forehead.

Oh, go on then.
When I was six years old I was spinning in a playground and I smashed my forehead on the ground and they superglued my head.

What.. like your skull!?
Yeah I guess, I don't really know, I was so young!

If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?
I'd be a cheetah because they're fast. It would be fun, I could get places quick. Free travel!

How would you define success?
Success… I define it as patience. There's a lot of patience involved. You have to work for it and just not buy it. Just do it yourself I guess.

Do you have any guilty pleasures?
I watch East Enders! It's the only TV program I watch. It's just something you need to follow, it's like an addiction. I'm not proud of it!

Haha it could be worse! If we were to come over to your house, what would you cook for us?
Umm, I would probably cook you eggs, because they're really easy.

Ha! Good effort, we were expecting a three course meal.
Well I could order you pizza, it would be so much easier. I'm not much of a cook!

Any life advice you would like to leave with our readers?
Keep trying, don't give up, you know, the cliché stuff. I can't think of anything original, but just enjoy whatever you do, and keep doing it!

It may be cliché, but it's definitely still worth hearing. Thanks for the chat, Peter!
