Lucho’s Favorite Things And Such

12 June 2012

Remember handsome Argentinian boy Lucho Zabrana at Hey! Management? We featured him a little while back in our Boys by Girls editorial "The Wild Ones", shot by Belen Asad, and thought we'd have a little catch up with him.

We adore that he loves "The Little Prince", that's one of our favorite books! You should also definitely check out some of his photography. And make sure to keep checking in as we may have some exciting Lucho surprises coming up in the future.

How did you get started with modelling?
Belen Asad discovered me, my soul sister. I took a few test pictures, then I started. It’s been a year, more or less.

What have been some of the best experiences you have had in your journey as a model so far?
I believe one of the best experiences was to travel to New York for Fashion Week. It was so much fun.

In five years, what are some things you would like to have accomplished in your career as a model?
The truth is that for now I am enjoying the moment, and I want to enjoy it while it lasts. I have fun.

Describe your personal style.
Flamboyant.

What does your family think about you getting involved in modelling?
They support me through everything, whatever I do that makes me happy.

What is something about you that people would be surprised to know?
Hahaha, my big secret now public: I don’t tie my shoelaces! You should see my laces. Full of knots.

Who are some people that inspire you?
The gods of the universe.

Name three favourite foods?
To start, I’m a vegetarian. I love pasta, pizza and empanadas.

Three favourite songs?
"Back to Black" by Amy Winehouse
"Every You, Every Me" by Placebo
"Never Let Me Go" by Lana Del Rey

Three favourite movies?
Donnie Darko
Where the Wild Things Are
Cinema Paradiso

Three favourite books?
"Prometheus Rising" by Robert Anton Wilson
"Justine" by Marquis de Sade
"Le Petit Prince" by Antoine de Saint Exupéry

Other than modelling, what are some things you enjoy doing and are passionate about?
Photography! You can see the photos that I’ve taken on my personal Tumblr: http://luchozabrana.tumblr.com.

What is one thing you want to make sure to do in your life?
I want to have a place where I can feed people who do not have enough to eat.
