Chris Says Hey

27 June 2012

After sharing Boys by Girls editorial "The Other Me" last week, we thought we'd give you all a chance to get to know Chris Close of Amck Models a little better. So here's a little interview we did with him during our shoot whilst he was having his hair and make-up done. If you haven't already, make sure to take a look.

Where are you from?
I'm from Windsor, just outside of London.

What's it like there?
It's lovely.

Is it cause the Queen lives there?
haha It's just really lovely. It's kind of being in town, but then you've also got the river and the countryside nearby.

Have you ever met the Queen?
No, I haven't.

Awww and you live there. What a waste. Do you sometimes talk to tourists then?
haha no not really.

Oh ok, we better get back to some serious questions then. Tell about your studies.
I've been studying design since September. I'm doing footwear design at London College of Fashion at the moment. I really like it, and I'm looking forward to how it will continue to challenge me.

What's the funnest day in your life ever?
I think when I went to Las Vegas for the first time with my family. It was a fun place to visit even as a 14 year old.

Did you gamble?
I was 14.

Oh yes good point. I gambled in Las Vegas once. LIke a tenner. I lost it all.
That's not really gambling though is it? haha But I did get to go to that restaurant with the revolving floor. And did lots of shopping and other fun things.

Oh yes, I went to that too! (We enjoy a bit of a Vegas bonding moment…). Have you travelled any other places?
Paris for fashion week last January was really fun. I got to hang out a few extra days there as well. Paris Fashion Week was really interesting, a great experience. Hopefully I will be doing London fashion week as well.
