An Interview With Billy

9 July 2012

Cecilie Harris recently captured some wonderful portraits of new face at M+P Models, Billy Moran, which you can view here.

We wanted to get to know Billy a little better, so we sat down for a little interview with him to share so you can get to know him too. We have a lot of love for Billy, and will be featuring him more this year. Yep.

How did you get into modelling?
I was at Westfield Shopping Centre and Simon at M+P Models came up to me and asked me if I'd be interested in modelling. Obviously I said yes, and the next day I was in the agency office and signed up.

Are you enjoying it so far?
Yeah it's well fun. You get to wear a lot of funky clothes.

What's your favourite part of modelling so far?
Funky clothes!

What's the funkiest thing you've been wearing?
Probably pink latex so far I recon. I've worn a couple of skirts. Something I wouldn't wear every day. And a lot of funky hats, couple of grandad hats and a hat with a helicopter thing on the top.

What's your favourite modelling job you've done so far?
Probably this one! One, it's at home and I didn't have to travel very far. And it was really quick and a lot of fun stuff. I was able to relax and enjoy it, whilst being serious at the same time and I shot with two very nice people as well. (He means Cecilie and stylist Krishan Parmar. Awwww. Bless).

Wonderful. Ten points!

What would be your dream modelling job to do if you could pick anything?
I'd love to be in New York, at a top of a big building doing a nude shoot with two girls. That would be the best.

We'll try to sort that out for you.
Ha! Thanks. Cheers.

What are you passionate about?
I play football and I go to the gym. I also quite like history. The gory history in particular.

How do you keep fit?
I play football every Thursday with my mates, and I go to the gym two to three times a week. And I do quite a lot of walking with the modelling.

Like catwalk walking?
No, like getting from location to location. They tend to be not close to train stations.

Can you give me three random Billy facts?
My birthday is 21st of February.
I got nicked once for jumping off a roof into a skip.
I've got a fractured eye socket, and if I hold my nose and blow, this bit pops out. But I'm not meant to do it.
I like quite gay shows as well. I quite like feminine shows on TV. I love Desperate Housewives.

That's not a gay show?
I know, but it is to all my mates. I'm so pleased Bree didn't go to jail!

Do you have any secret talents?
I can do funny faces. I can pull my lip up here. And then do this.

Is that your party trick?
Yeah! That's what I do at parties and in the classroom when I'm bored.

Thanks for chatting with us Billy! Keep your eyes peeled for more from this boy!
