“Reborn” By Toyin Ibidapo

6 March 2019

After discovering Toyin Ibidapo's book "Cult Of Boys" we completely fell in love with her work! So much that we invited her to contribute to our latest issue "A Place Called Youth".

Practically a photography goddess and someone that we look up to when it comes to capturing the young male, her perspective is impactful, raw and captures the soul of whoever she points her lense at.

In her "A Place Called Youth" contribution titled "Reborn", she set free a few of her boys previously frozen in time. Images from rolls of unprocessed film dating back as far as 2003 were brought to life for her series of beautiful images, and we are so delighted to feature her! An inspiration to so many, Toyin is someone to look up to and learn from. She is always full of wise words and gives great hugs! In addition to capturing stunning images of course.

To see her full story make sure to grab yourself a copy of "A Place Called Youth". Click for stockists and order details.
