Print Collection Issue 8

17 October 2015
“Every time someone walks in my door, they comment on my limited edition print of Sam Alexander’s illustration “Falling”. Who’s the artist? Is it watercolour? Where did you get it?’ This always makes me smile, as it gives me an opportunity to talk about the Boys by Girls print collections. Expanding on what we do with within the magazine to giving our readers and opportunity to own some of our published photographs and illustrations as prints that they can put on their wall, is something I am very excited about.” - Cecilie Harris
Following our first Photography Print Collection this summer, after our photographic exhibition “Boys at Home", our second Print Collection is a selection of eight of our most popular images from Issue 8. With work by BBG photographers Georgie Wileman, Olivia Rose and Cecilie Harris, the images in this Issue 8 Collection varies from stunning and authentic boy portraits to beautiful atmospheric photographs of personal environments of some of the boys in the issue. The pictures are intimate representations of the stories we tell.
Boys by Girls is not just about beautiful images in a magazine, or scrolling through images on the internet or social media. It is about connecting with something you find visually beautiful and including it in your world. Blowing up the images you fell in love with whilst reading our magazine to bigger A3 versions, enables you to experience the photography as a piece of art and make it part of your own environment.
All 8 photographs are now available to order through the BBG Shop. Included is a Limited Edition print of one of our issue 8 covers. The photographs are printed on C type photographic paper in A3 size, and can be ordered unframed or framed. All images ship worldwide.
