Portraits Of Paul Barge

29 January 2015

An afternoon in Paris featuring textured backgrounds, structure the shadowed scenes behind these portraits of Paul Barge (Premium Models). Photographer Virginie Khateeb works in a perfect flow alongside Paul to create a set of highly contrasting images. Light and dark challenge beauty and evoke lost moments in this eye-catching series.

Stylist Glen Mban uses basics alongide statement pieces. Placing a simple shirt alongside the printed trousers by Smith Wykes, allowing the creation to naturally merge into the surround urban landscape. The dark pieces allow the team to play with contrasting and matching backdrops, and the boy to play the floating silhouette of the setting.

Paul has the ability to switch between the light and the dark, taking us through a series of sentiments using subtle motions. Delivering a shy smile, strong poses, but mostly allowing us sincere intensity. We see you.
