Portraits Of Jordan Coulter

26 June 2014

Photographer Shannon Tao's recent portrait series captures the strong beauty and presence of model Jordan Coulter at Premier Model Management in an exquisitely soft and minimalistic way.

Shannon contrasts Jordan's athletic build and strong features with a softness through her use of shadows and out of focus shots. Jordan's strong physique most probably comes from his love of sport, particularly skiing, surfing and rugby. The Australian model has had an impressive career since first being scouted at the age of 15, which you will notice through his relaxed and confident nature in front of the camera.

The photographs create a nostalgic feeling which further reflect the vintage wardrobe as styled by Aleph Trum. The 20 year old Chinese - Canadian fashion photographer is currently based in London and is studying at the London College of Fashion. Her photography predominantly captures a mixture of models, as well as her loved ones. The romantic approach to Shannon's work is beautiful and her photographs reflect both a feeling of classic and new.
