Photographer: Alina Negoita

25 April 2013

After our recent splurge of new female photography talent we have yet another lovely lady to introduce you to today. Say hello to Alina Negoita, a video maker, art director and photographer based in the two amazing Cities of London and New York.

We gave you the first taster of Alina's work with a beautiful shoot of very new boy Teo at MRA Models, make sure you check out the full series of stunning images here. We love her use of light and shadow, combined with the simplicity of delicate portraiture. It's really no wonder that she's already had some of her work featured in AnOther Magazine and even more notably on a huge billboard in Times Square; we look forward to seeing what else Alina has got coming up in further publications.

Described by Pieter Wisse as "at the verge of taking her own photographic world by storm" Alina's "contemporary style images often contain a hint of the old masters and a flirt with the greats of the 20th century"; and we can't help but agree! Inspired by a mass of different factors, Alina lists music, New York, Mike Brodie, life on the road and personal stories as some of the biggest influences on her work.

Check out some of our favourite examples of Alina's work below and visit her BBG girl profile for more information about her.
