New York Internships Available

It's an exciting time at Boys by Girls. We are reaching out over the pond as our very own Georgie Wileman moves to New York City, which means BBG now has a New York base as well as a London base, and we'd love you to get involved. We have two intern oportunities to join the Boys by Girls family. If you are hard working, passionate and understand our appreciation of the beauty of the contemporary young man, then we'd love to hear from you. Sounds fun right?

Georgie Wileman Photography Intern Manhattan, New York
This role includes multiple aspects, which allows you to get a variety of experienceworking with the fantastic photographer that Georgie is. Assiting on shoots, preparing moodboards and scouting locations, basic photo editing and minimal retouching, communicating with agencies and other creatives, and shooting behind the scenes content are a few of the hands on tasks that you will be able to get involed in. Others include updating the blog and website, creating content andmanaging social media platforms.
Requirements:
- Passion for photography
- Good Photoshop knowledge
- Retouching knowledge
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn
- Strong computer and social media skills
- Basic photography skills
Boys by Girls Intern Manhattan, New York
As a BBG Intern, you will still be working with Georgie, however everything you get involved in will be all about BBG. Resposibilities include assisting on Boys by Girls shoots, updating the blog and website, creating content and managing social media platforms, working with agencies and other creatives to plan and organise shoots and features, shooting behind the scenes content, and doing basic interviews, etc. for online posts.
Requirements:
- Good computer and social media skills
- Basic knowledge of Fashion and the Fashion Industry
- Good Photoshop knowledge
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn
- Basic photography skills
- Basic journalist skills are a plus
These are unpaid internships. Internships will be 2-3 days a week with good availability required for shoots, including some weekends. Applicants must be able to commit to the internship for a minimum of 2 months.
