New Face: Rob At SUPA Models

17 September 2014

Last time we saw Paola Vivas capture the beautiful Mattias Crowe in our "Boys In Bedrooms" series in Issue 6. After her visit to Mexico, she’s now back in London with a new portrait series of Rob Johnson at SUPA Models. Moving away from the intimate low lit enviroment of her last shoot, Paola uses this opportunity to work with the elements. Using the natural lighting and a scenic backdrop that Rob becomes interwined with, the railings and overlooking the hypnotic river. Still, it's a natural approach that lends itself perfectly to Paola's work.

With his classic male beauty, gorgeous lines and stunning lips, Paola captures him in a toned down portrait series. Set in a relaxed surrounding, Rob delivers a calm mood throughout the series showcasing his personal style. Paola manages to photograph his masculinity in a soft and youthful way, inviting the audience to take refuge in this soft monochrome series. In this self-styled shoot Rob illustrates his consistently casual wardrobe, with an American edge. Resulting in an old hollywood James Dean-esque feel to the shoot, heightened further by the laid-back body language and expressions throughout.

We have more of Paola's work to showcase in the next coming week's, so keep coming to visit us.
