New Face: Otto At Wilhelmina

16 May 2013

Exciting new face at Boys by Girls this week is Otto at Wilhelmina Models, photographed in New York by photographer Ira Chernova. Otto is a young Dutch boy who currently lives and studies in NYC, and we are excited to feature him.

We're totally falling in love with the way Ira captures portraits of boys! Using her environment to the fullest, she manages to portray the boys she points her lens at in such a simple, yet beautiful way, showing the model's strength and inner as well as outer beauty. The use of black and white photography, mixing digital and polaroid, give such classic and strong results.

Otto’s amazing features make him an instant delight to the eyes. Even better, he’s a boy of foreign background living in the super culturual city of dreams. It’s a perfect mixture, and makes Otto even more interesting. He is like the cool boy in school that the girls drool over and the boys want to be like. We're happy having photographed him. Definitely keep an eye out for him!
