New Face: Nathaniel at Next

2 October 2013

In our new face feature this week we bring you something special from across the pond in the shape of Nathaniel Thien-Nhan Dam at Next Models Paris. This L.A. beauty is brought to us in these sensitive black and white images from Magdalena Lawniczak.

Originally from L.A., Nathaniel now calls New York his stomping ground after studying at Parsons School of Art & Design. This artistic boy is climbing up the model ladder, having already walked for Kenzo's SS14 show and is a talented photographer himself with his images holding a wonderful melancholic feel - to check out his inspiring work view his blog here.

Photographer Magdalena Lawniczak is returning to us for this shoot where she shows Nathaniel in quietly beautiful and vulnerable shots. Her images are always wildly artistic and manages to show her subjects in a range varying from comic to compassionate; we love her stripped back raw style of working.

Words by Annie Ounstead.
