New Face: Fielding at NYMM

25 September 2013

This week we are bringing you an exciting new face feature from across the pond. Presenting Fielding Lewis at New York Models photographed in the city that never sleeps by the talented Jowana Lofti. Jowana is normally based in Paris, but has just spent the whole summer in New York, and had the opportunity to shoot Fielding whilst out there.

She captures Fielding in this dramatic black and white shoot on a rooftop in NYC. Surrounded by Midtown’s skyscrapers, we see him using the city as his playground. Styled in a simple white tee and black jeans we are able to concentrate on the intricate beauty of Fielding’s face and form with no distractions. Jowana says she fell in love with the way he moved around the set, his elf ears, big hands (to which he refers to as his monkey hands) and beautiful alien like face.

Fielding is fairly new to modeling. Having only started less than a year ago, he has already walked for Prada, Louis Vuitton, Jil Sander among a long list of others including Alexander McQueen. He has also graced the pages of Interview and W Magazine in some beautiful editorials. New York may be a world away from the farm he grew up on in Wyoming (we have to admit, we love the fact his name is Fielding and his occupation a farmer), but this country boy is taking the city by storm. Enjoy.
