New Face: Edward at Elite

30 January 2013

We have a beautiful new boy for you to meet today, although chances are you’ll recognise him from his recent campaign shots. The lovely Edward Wilding at Elite Models London came to see us a little while back, and boy are we glad he did as we have since seen him doing some pretty awesome stuff. If you have seen the recent AW13 Versace campaign then you should recognise him… draped over Kate Moss no less looking very fabulous!

A genuinely lovely boy from up North we really enjoyed working with. Edward wowed us during the shoot with his confidence and ability to look so damn good in front of the camera, and we were super surprised to hear that he hadn’t even been modelling high fashion for that long at the time. Styled with sleaked hair and a more casual, messy style, we just couldn’t help but compare him to a James Dean of today when wearing his leather jacket. We adore. Go team Edward!

The series of portraits were shot by Cecilie Harris on location in both the local park and a beautiful sunlit corridor. Playing with the autumn colours, the pair produced a lovely series. We particularly love the image featuring Edward on the landing basking in the sunlight beaming through the window. Colours pleasure and general goodness.

Make sure to keep an eye out for this lovely boy. Edward (can we call you Ed?), the Boys by Girls team sends you love and wishes you all the best, we’re pretty sure you’re one to watch this year!
