New Face: Dylan At Q Models

6 March 2019

Photographer Leila Jacue photographs Dylan at Q Model Management in this super cool series. The collective of images were shot on Roosevelt Island between Manhattan and Long Island City on a clear and crisp day, your typical early spring morning in New York.

The set of photographs capture a fresh rawness of the city, and feel very truthful. Leila plays with different angles shooting Dylan against the New York skyline, a truly beautiful setting. The breathtaking skyline views feels like a needed distant fantasy as we sit in our London office typing away.

New York is new for Dylan who has just moved from LA, and in this series we see him take his first steps in an exploration of New York and its surrounding areas. Not by foot though, because Dylan is a keen skateboarder and a talented one may we add. The model isn’t just a talented skateboarder, but also an extremely creative guy in addition to being a total sweetheart (triple threat – 10 points to Dylan).

Stylists for the shoot David Leon and Belen Vargas-Rojo kept things relaxed, to go hand in hand with the easygoing nature of Dylan and clean white backdrop. Leila let the models movements do the talking. Super relaxed, Dylan was a fun dude to work with and so we hope to see him again soon.
