Matt Rodwell For “Lessons”

6 March 2019

Photographer and BBG Editor, Georgie Wileman, has a very signature style of photographing, that is showcased recently in her portrait series of Matt Rodwell at Nevs Models that she shot for our latest issue "Lessons".

The portrait series was captured around Matt's area where he lives. Not giving away too much information opens each image up for your own interpretation and adds an interesting mystery for each of us to solve. Bringing quite a mysterious feel, this is a Georgie trademark, as she likes to catch people off guard. The way she sees a lot of people can be described as untraditional beauty, and it is grabbing our full attention.

The styling by Eilidh Greig fits into the candid feel of the images, keeping it very streetwear. The clothes are real and true to what boys his age would be wearing, making the line between fashion and real life beauty combine effortlessly. Using comfortable brands like Levi's, Stone Island and Carhartt, there is an overall laid back vibe that gives more of a documentary feel for the series.

Check below for a little peak at the beautiful Matt. To see the rest of his series, along with many others, you can pick up the issue "Lessons" for yourself by clicking here.
