Matt & Erik for issue 6

9 June 2014

"I'd like to sleep through the night without a broken heart thanks so much." Matt Ardell

Matt Ardell's (DNA Models) quote perfectly sums up his wonderfully charming and tainted teenage soul. After our issue 5 editorial, we felt a massive need to further explore the world of Matt Ardell in issue 6. A much needed necessity. Photographed in New York by Stefani Pappas he is joined by Swedish stunner Erik Andersson (New York Models).

Both having the ability to look strong and delicate at the same time, this stunning editorial takes us somewhere slightly darker. With perfectly moody performances of possible pain and hunger for something more living closely together within.

Mixing outside and studio shots, black & white and colour images pictures, there is a perfect balance in the series. With a hint of sadness in the boys eyes, adding to the beauty of them both.

Styled by Andrew Mukamal, Matt and Erik are wearing vintage styles by Undercover, Calvin Klein, Raf Simons and Balenciaga. The dark colours perfectly matches the backgrounds and mood.

Make sure to get your own copy to see the full series of Matt & Erik in the 6th issue of Boys by Girls.
