Lonely Sunrays

25 November 2015
Not quite a fit to the large streets that become narrow when the walls of people fill them to the brim. Some might call it a misfit. Others may not see the shadows that flit between the sunrays. A blind eye turned to the boy who simply enjoys his own company.
It's easy to be lost in a city that casts unfamiliar light on that glimpse of you, you in that sunwashed window. That reflection that is a little snippet of you, warped by the flecks of rain and dust that have etched their way delicately across the glass. Luke (Elite London) regresses from the harsh light into a familiar haze, leaning like he does so often in a semi scripted manner.
Indie McFarlane takes these shots, soft unimposing, far away from any discomfort belonging to busy streets. Sarah Ruxton assembles the clothes draped around him, boyish, playful. Pairing Paul Smith with boyhood favourite Adidas, Luke has a sprinkling of youth and sun entertwined through his clothing.
You might choose the close contact or the solitary room. Eather way, take a moment - a solitary one.
