As the second to last show at London Collections: Men AW14, a packed to the brim room waited eagerly for Christopher Shannon to begin. And once the models began to walk out onto the catwalk, smiles took over our faces and we were all nothing but impressed.
Beginning the show with oversized jumpers made up of bold graphics of cigarette packets with brand names such as "Monday Nights" and "Good Times", the fun factor soon transformed into something a little bit cooler as sporty zipped sweaters, slitted skirts and oversized necklaces hit the catwalk. Super wet hair and overly pointed collars complimented the looks, giving the collection a darker edge. Shannon didn't hold back on the colour palette either as dazzling orange and magenta prints emerged onto the runway.
The line-up was pretty impressive as well - Jos from AMCK and Chuck at Premier rocked the catwalk in ultra short shorts and patent jackets, while Sang at Select appeared in a full tech-savvy floral printed tracksuit. Ending the show with True Steppers' "You're Out of Your Mind", the soundtrack complimented the show perfectly, as we had a little dance and celebrated just how great this LCM has been.
