Illustrations For Issue 6

29 May 2014

Do you remember your childhood? Can you remember how innocent and true to people we were? We weren't afraid to say what we thought, not afraid to dream or live fully. Because that's it, there is nothing more true than our past - it's part of us. The past includes secrets of who we are today, which makes elements of childhood a key part of finding out the truth about boys.

We invited artist Adamie to illustrate for the 6th issue "The Truth About Boys" in a series of portraits where some of our favourite models are painted as children. The images are inspired by childhood photographs we collected on the day of shooting the boys. Adamie has managed, in this stunning work, to capture that kind of look you only have when you're a child - see for yourself with these portraits of Henry Smith and Joey Rogers. And there is more in the print issue!

To see all her illustrations make sure to get your copy of Boys By Girls 6th issue "The Truth About Boys" here.
