We’re somewhat a little jealous of Madison at Supa Model Management, firstly because of her performing arts talents and secondly because of her never ending hair (maybe her and Harry Curran should have a hair off, that’s a real thing right?)
For today’s issue 6 teaser we bring you a special preview of the 8-page editorial for “The Truth About Boys” featuring Madison for the very first Girls by Boys feature. Yes you heard us right a GBB editorial, bet you didn’t see that one coming. Likely to be an idea we cooked up over a glass of wine or several, or something more clever than that.
One of our favourite male photographers Nik Hartley captured Madison in true BBG style at her home just outside of Brighton. The home environment setting originating back from issue 2 aims to capture the male teenager of today and what they surround themselves with. This time we flip-reversed the concept, exploring the environment and mindset of a teenage girl. While we were at Madison’s home, she treated the BBG team to a song and her mum made mac and cheese, perfect!
Our contributing editor Way Perry kept the styling bright and girly in a selection of Topshop tropical prints and matching pink garments, capturing the fun and playful side of Madison. While there were more sophisticated pieces like the orange leather jacket and pink coat, Way perfectly paired the pieces with a sports edge using converse and luxe bomber jackets.
Madison's passion lies in performing arts and she has been studying ever since she was nine years old. Going to a performance art school in London, Madison travels from Brighton every day to keep improving in performing arts. That’s what we call dedication. Describing herself as slightly odd, independent and fun (we love an oddball), the teenager has a very positive outlook on life; “It’s amazing to be surrounded every day by things you love”.
