Faces Of Summer: Jos

17 September 2013

We are spoiling you with another fantastic "Faces of Summer 2013" feature today, this time with Jos Whiteman from Amck Models photographed by Cecilie Harris and styled by PC Williams. Jos is a quiet beauty with freckles that will make your heart flutter. He walked this season in London Collections for Mr. Start, Shaun Sampson, Lou Dalton, Meadham Kirchoff and NA DI, and if that wasn't impressive enough, he shot lookbooks for G-Star Raw, Lazy Oaf, and NA DI. Also shooting recently for Uniqlo and an editorial for GQ, this cutie seems to be all over the place at the moment.

After looking at his images we understand why he is getting all of his attention. His personality fits his remarkable subtle beauty, being the silent stand out with his incredible freckles and beautiful lips. PC Williams matches the laid back, effortless style that Jos portrays throughout her styling. Jos was definitely a dream to photograph.

During a busy day of models running around with kites, fighting over who gets the last sandwich, and facing the summer heat, we were able to sit down with patient and tranquil Jos to ask him a few questions to get to know him a bit better. When you first meet Jos he is quiet and easy going, and once you start talking with him you discover the kind, and sweetheart boy that we adore! We were curious to ask what Jos would do if he found a bag full of money, and what TV shows we should be watching. Jos' beautifully freckled face has been the talk of BBQ all morning, be sure to check out the images below to have a look for yourself. PS. He has a sister named Tiger. #Roar.

Hi Jos, what shows did you do this season?
I walked in London collections for Mr. Start, Shaun Sampson, Lou Dalton, Meadham Kirchoff and NA DI.

And you have been shooting a lot haven't you?
Yes, I did a lookbook for NA DI, G-Star Raw and Lazy Oat. I shot for Uniqlo while I was in Japan, and then the other day did an editorial for GQ.

How long have you been modeling for?
I started last March, so a year and a bit now.

Can you describe yourself in three words?
Quiet, adrenaline junkie and fun.

What makes you an adrenaline junkie?
I do a bit of rock climbing, I ride a motorbike and I have been skydiving. I try to do a bit of everything.

Were you scared to skydive?
It was the first time, but I've done it a few times since so it isn't scary anymore. And this isn't really an adrenaline sport, but I used to do inline aggressive skating.

If you found a bag full of money what would you do with it?
I would probably do something sensible like buy a house, or invest in a percentage of Mcdonalds or something. I have also always wanted to buy my own skatepark. I would have an underground one in my house.

Have you watched any good TV shows lately that we should know about?
There is this crazy show called "Doomsday Preppers". It is a reality show of people who are preparing for the end of the world. They go as far as building an underground bunker. I don't believe that the world is ending though.

Who is your hero?
I would say Snake Plissken. He is a fictional character played by Kurt Russell in the film "Escape from L.A." . He is just a really cool character.

Is there anyone in your life that inspires you?
Probably my girlfriend, because she is quite outgoing really nice, and a great person. I would like to be more like her because she is very giving and generous.

If your girlfriend had to describe you, what would she say?
This one is bragging, but I can beat her at tennis! haha I would hope she would say that I was nice, generous and caring.

What is your biggest pet peeve?
If am walking down the road needing to be somewhere and someone is walking slow in front of me, I hate that! I always walk around them, but make a point when I go around them by speeding up so they can see what speed I am going at. So they know what they are doing!

If you weren't modelling what would you be doing?
I would either be in the army or a rock climbing instructor.

Any last or final words you could leave?
Just enjoy yourself, that is what it is all about.

That is a common theme with everyone, and we can't get enough off all the love around! Thanks for the interview Jos.
