Adam Prucha For APCY

11 February 2013

Today we give you another sneak peek into our 4th Boys by Girls issue, 'A Place Called Youth' with a selection of our favorite shots from editorial featuring Adam Prucha at Stockholmsgruppen. Captured by Cecilie Harris, she reveals a series of intimate shots of this lovely boy. And yes, he’s Swedish; you know how much we love Scandinavian boys. Having previously photographed Adam for Carbon Copy Magazine, she was eager to get even more under his skin.

Titled "Lost & Found", Cecilie went to visit Adam at his flat in Stockholm to capture a beautiful and raw editorial for this issue. Following his emotional journey not only through the stunning photographs, but also the story of Adam (written by Adam), readers can catch a glimpse into his life and how he has become the person he is today.

Adam's flat added some seriously cool vintage wallpaper, and in general the Scandinavian feel and decour give this image series such a beautiful feel. The pair worked together to let the images reflect Adam's journey, including challenges, personal battles won and reflection. Overall there is a newfound peacefulness in the images, that draws us in to this story.

"Adam is such a beautiful boy inside and out. Not only is he breath-takingly stunning but his personal journey, struggles and self-reflection has made him into such a strong and sensitive charachter, that you can't help but care for him. Socially wise beyond his years he is the care-taker, the loyal friend and the one who cares about you when you need it the most. I had such a wicked time working with Adam, and he still checks in on my all the way from Sweden to make sure I've had a good day and had something to smile about." (Cecilie)

Make sure to get yourself a copy, as this is a story you will want to spend some time on. Find stockist informations for ‘A Place Called Youth’ here or you can order from our online shop here.
