Accepting Online Submissions!

21 November 2012

Good news female photographers of the world! We will now be accepting submissions of online Editorials for Boys by Girls on our website www.boysbygirls.co.uk. We have received a lot of requests recently about online submissions and after pondering on it we decided to open up the gates to represent the best and most intriguing female talent out there in the world of fashion photography. Contributions to our print issue are by invitation and commissioned shoots only.

To get the creative juices flowing we’ve supplied all you hopeful contributors with a lovely Pinterest moodboard. Please see the pretty moodboard below for what we typically like, as well as general guidelines for submissions:

  • You need to be a female photographer
  • Models should be "boys" and not "men"
  • Editorials should be styled using established or up and coming designer brands
  • Models should be with major model agencies. Look through our website for typical models we like. We want to see new faces as well as established boys
  • Send us a varied choice of edited images to look through
  • We will need high res images for accepted submissions
  • We're looking for images that make an impact with us and awake some sort of emotion
  • Images need to be exclusive to Boys by Girls and not published/posted anywhere else
  • If we fall in love with it, we will accept it

Submissions should be emailed to: submissions@boysbygirls.co.uk. Please give us a week to get back to you.

Good luck, we can't wait to see what you come up with!
