Joshua Moroney For APCY

31 December 2012

In a story exploring the journey from boy to man, Cecilie Harris photographs the wonderful Joshua Moroney (FM Models). With the pair having teamed up quite a few times already for previous shoots, including a feature in our last issue, it was only natural that Cecilie invited Joshua back for our fourth issue "A Place Called Youth".

Styled by Rachael Barker this story merges elements reminiscent of childhood with its statement use of primary colours and items like the yellow Woolrich field jacket and blue shoes by Kickers, Christopher Shannon, with more modern statements from Christopher Shannon's SS13 collection, also including some of his cool Kidda! pieces. Styling assistant Crista Repo. Grooming by Stephen Hamilton.

In an interview where he nearly brought Rachael and Cecilie to tears talking about his values and relationship with his family, Joshua shares with readers of "A Place Called Youth" stories from his journey from childhood into adulthood. One thing is for sure, this is a boy we look up to! When it comes to Joshua there is a lot more underneath the surface, and we can't wait to keep being impressed by his modelling, stories and general charm.

Reading his story and seeing these beautiful images in print, is a reason alone to get a copy of "A Place Called Youth" while it is still in shops. Find out ways to buy a copy here.
