Seasons of Change

Seasons of change catch our attention. Colours of our everyday brighten. Browns become greens. Grey skies turn to blue and back again. And we take the opportunity to watch everything transform. Life’s soundtrack changes from melancholy piano to acoustic strings, tempting us outside with an optimistic rhythm. Morning hazes succumb to the sun as light lays itself upon the land, and the day becomes awash with spring’s gentle warmth. On the outskirts of Mumbai, a boy stands amidst this ever-changing scene.

Finding joy in its unpredictability, Wojciech steps through forests and fields, and dances among grasses that climb above his head. Captured by SOUMYA IYER, he basks in the rays and shelters in the shade. Souymer finds perfect balance between subject and setting in her photographs, with long-shot portraits that allow the landscape to expand to the edges of the image, giving Wojciech space to explore. For a moment, the horizon is cast with ethereal hazes, and in the next, the towering trees are broken with sunlight.

Every acre they cross, every hedgerow they pass, the earth ahead has something new in store. From strong lines to casual fits and monochrome washes to vibrant tones, DIVYA SAINI's styling adapts to each unique corner ventured through. Whatever happens, they embrace the day’s natural changes, and it’s time for us to do the same.

Take a seat on the meadow floor, let your body fall back, sink into the earth and relinquish control.
