Actor Keith Powers, along with photographer Magdalena Wosinska, tamed the all-year-round intense Los Angeles sun for the new AW18 issue. Streets make up this congested city of angels - and stars, so stylist Mecca Cox made this a feast for luxury street style. Tones of yellow throughout supplements the sun; zebra suggests an urban jungle; black and white chequer pieces signify the tactical moves we feel obligated to make in the measure of life.

“Growing up it was all about being the cool guy, getting the girls and playing sports. Now it’s less about that and more about being respected. It’s about taking everything seriously, every person I meet - second-guessing everything. I’m very outspoken. The older I’m getting, the more I’m realising that what I wanted to do before is not what I want to do anymore. I want to be respected, not just as a man but also as an artist. I want people to take my work seriously.”

Meeting actor Keith Powers serves as a reminder that we’re all human. The ‘Famous In Love’ actor desires respect as a man as well as an artist. You might think you know him: a handsome, popular actor - but there is more to the boy than any preconceived notions may hold.
